Biological role



The biological role of vitamin B15 is related to the activation process for the transfer of oxygen and respiratory enzymes.

Vitamin B15 is involved in the process of metilation; donors are methyl groups in the biosynthesis of choline, methionine, epinephrine, creatine and steroid hormones.

It is known that vitamin B15, shows detoxifying effect to chloro-organic compounds, alcohol, drugs and some medications.
